At the forefront of our organization's test automation strategy lies a pivotal role, that of Automation Architect. This position calls for an individual who can design and implement comprehensive test automation frameworks and strategies tailored to mobile telecom applications.

This key professional will oversee the efficiency and scalability of test automation processes across various testing endeavors, including functional and non-functional testing. They must adeptly select appropriate automation tools, drive the development of test scripts, and maintain the automation framework with utmost precision.

Test Automation Framework

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks for telco systems, encompassing OSS/BSS, billing, CRM, and network monitoring applications. This encompasses defining automation strategies, evaluating, and selecting tools and technologies in alignment with our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

The selected individual must define the test automation strategy, identify automation opportunities, and collaborate with test leads and domain subject matter experts to prioritize test cases for automation.

Test Script Development

We are seeking a skilled professional to develop and maintain high-quality automated test scripts, ensuring reliability and maintainability while adhering to best practices. Additionally, they will guide their team members in developing and maintaining automated test scripts of superior quality.

They must ensure timely execution of automated tests, optimize test scripts for performance and efficiency, and identify and resolve performance bottlenecks within the automation framework.

Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD)

The chosen Automation Architect will integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipeline to support continuous testing, guaranteeing timely execution of automated tests and optimizing test scripts for performance and efficiency.

In this crucial role, they will also work to resolve any identified performance bottlenecks in the automation framework.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this esteemed position, one must possess experience in test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Robot Framework, JUnit, and TestNG. Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript is equally essential.

A thorough understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo), and containerization (e.g., Docker) will further enhance their capabilities as an Automation Architect.
