Credit Account Specialist II Role

This position involves responding to customer inquiries to update their accounts. Primarily handles communication with customers via various mediums (phone, email, etc.).

About the Position

In this opportunity, you will:

  • Maintain accurate records of customer payments.
  • Collect and manage outstanding invoices from past due accounts within assigned portfolios.
  • E nsure adherence to credit and collection policies at all times.
  • Foster regular communication with customers to ensure accounts stay current.
  • Negotiate payment plans and assist customers in setting up auto-pay schedules.
  • Investigate delinquent accounts and provide necessary documentation to customers.
  • Maintain and update records in systems and generate related reports.
  • Collaborate with Sales Support, Customer Service, Accounts Receivable Support, and Dispute Teams regarding assigned portfolios.
  • Make informed decisions on disconnecting customers when negotiations fail.
  • Attend to assigned cases from review to closure.
  • Analyze and propose actions for service interruptions or write-offs for customers when payments cannot be negotiated within a set strategy and timeline.
  • Promote self-service options to customers for secure and efficient payment methods.
  • Suggest improvements to current practices.
  • Familiarize yourself with established collections methodologies.

About You

  • You must possess at least a bachelor's degree in any field.
  • A minimum of 1.5 years of experience in a related field is required for this role.
  • Preference given to candidates with 1-4 years of experience in Finance - Collections/Accounts Receivable, General/Cost Accounting, or equivalent.
  • Work experience in a BPO industry (Order to Cash, Customer Service, and similar) is an advantage.
  • You should have excellent communication skills and strong customer service or stakeholder relationship skills.
  • You are willing to work night shifts or based on business needs.
