As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining scalable AI-powered systems. You will work at the intersection of AI and payment technology to design, develop, and deploy robust Python-based backend systems with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.

You will be responsible for integrating and working with AI Agent frameworks and agentic development patterns. This includes building and deploying RAG pipelines and intelligent APIs powered by Generative AI, as well as developing and consuming RESTful APIs to support data exchange and service integration.

Additionally, you will utilize Docker for containerization and deploy services in microservices architecture. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and delivery of AI-first features.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Backend Development: 4 to 8 years of professional experience in backend development using Python, with a strong focus on object-oriented programming and backend software engineering.
  • AI and Generative AI: Experience working with AI Agent frameworks and solid understanding of Generative AI technologies, including prompt engineering techniques and LLM interactions.
  • Database Management: Hands-on experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and proficiency with version control tools, especially Git.
  • Containerization and Microservices: Familiarity with Docker for containerization and environment replication, as well as experience working with microservices and distributed systems.
