Acquisition Specialist

Procurement professionals play a vital role in the success of any organization. As a Raw Materials Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the acquisition of essential raw materials that drive our production processes forward.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, with excellent negotiation and communication skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop strategic procurement plans, manage supplier relationships, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize raw material costs.
- Manage purchase orders, contracts, and vendor agreements.
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve issues and negotiate favorable terms.
- Monitor market trends and analyze data to inform procurement decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on raw materials.
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and strategies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
Additional Skills:
- Experience in the pesticide industry is preferred.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements related to raw materials procurement.
