Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of 3-4 members in IC accounting process.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, handle end-of-end IC process and resolve queries/problems.
  • Review month-end activities performed by the IC team, including billing for IC transactions of US entity.
  • Review global IC BS and P&L variances and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve global IC variances.
  • Post top-side entry in Oracle FCCS for high-value variances that remain open at ME.
  • Review BS reconciliation of IC GLs in detail and provide feedback to team members with required action plan.
  • Timely follow-up with global Controller's on any pending data/open queries.

Process Improvisation - Standardize the IC process and assign end-to-end activities to team members.

Strategizing plans to achieve team goals in a timely manner within the stipulated time frame.

IC Process Documentation & Cross Training - Improved Standard Operating Procedures with detailed steps and created back-up layer for business continuity planning.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • CA – 8+ years of work experience in Finance Controllership / Consolidations, Inter-Company Accounting.
  • Thorough knowledge of Consolidations accounting principles and procedures.
  • Experience in handling Inter company accounting/IC ledger reviews/reconciliations etc.
  • Month end close experience is required.
  • Transformation projects experience will be add-on.

In addition, you should have:

  • Multiple ERP systems knowledge (SAP).
  • Consolidation Platform Experience (Oracle FCCS).
  • Excellent excel skills.
