Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Scientific Writer to join our team. As a key member of our Medical Communications department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality scientific documents and supporting the development of medical communications services.

  • You will work closely with our Client Engagement team, Writing delivery team, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

About the Role:

  • This role involves preparing and supporting the preparation of complex scientific documents, including medical communications, to meet the highest quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and maintenance of high-quality scientific documents, including medical communications.
  • Initiation and implementation of process improvement techniques to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Management of multiple projects across various brands and therapeutic areas.
  • Development and implementation of customer management strategies and tactics.
  • Creation of a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for identified therapeutic areas or disease states.
  • Contribution to the development and brand plans, as well as policy decision-making, as a TA/Disease Champion.
  • Ideation and implementation of tactics to influence internal and external development environments.
  • Adherence to project management tools, standards, policies, and initiatives.

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum science degree or equivalent (B.Sc./M.Sc./M.Pharm).
  • At least 12 years of Clinical Research experience, with a strong background in scientific writing.

Desired Requirements:

  • Detailed knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP). Ability to establish effective working relationships within a matrix and multicultural environment.
  • Presentation and diplomacy skills, with a strong customer-oriented mindset.
