Scientific Communications Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scientific Communications Leader to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans for scientific communications across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and manage a Medical Communications hub, including building and scaling the scientific communications capability.
  • Lead a team of scientific communication specialists in managing both marketed products and pipeline molecules.
  • Partner with global strategy leads to develop high-quality scientific content aligned with product and franchise strategies.
  • Deliver medical content globally, including publications, medical education, congress content, and medical reviews.
  • Drive adoption of innovative approaches and digital solutions to make complex scientific data more accessible.
Team Management:
  • Mentor and inspire a diverse team of scientific communication specialists, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Recruit, retain, and motivate high-performing staff, ensuring effective talent management and succession planning.
  • Provide structured training programs to develop team members' skills and career growth.
Qualifications:
  • Doctorate degree & 6 years of scientific communications experience OR Master's degree & 10 years of scientific communications experience OR Bachelor's degree & 12 years of scientific communications experience.
  • 6 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, or directing resources allocation.
