Credit Manager Role


About the Job:

This role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in credit analysis and risk assessment. As a Credit Manager, you will be responsible for evaluating funding proposals from branches, ensuring compliance with established guidelines, and managing FI agency/valuation agency operations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough due diligence of funding proposals to guarantee adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Implement and oversee the effective execution of credit policies across various branches.
  • Supervise and manage the performance of FI agency/valuation agency teams to achieve optimal results.
  • Monitor and maintain a high-quality portfolio within specified parameters.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance knowledge and skills of FI/channels and cross-verticals.
  • Regularly visit channels/branches and customers to gather market feedback and build relationships.
  • Lead a team of Credit Managers and associates, providing guidance and support to drive performance.
  • Provide market insights through field visits and networking with credit counterparts from competitors.

Requirements:
  • Possess an advanced degree in business administration or finance, such as an MBA or M.com (Hons).
  • Demonstrate strong functional competencies in credit analysis, analytical accuracy, lending procedures, and credit risk assessment.
  • Exhibit behavioral competencies in execution excellence, customer-centricity, people leadership, and strategic orientation.
  • Have direct or CFT experience in credit/operations/sales/collections and a good understanding of local market dynamics.
  • Display excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively.
