Network Engineer III Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer III to join our global team at a leading telecommunications company.

This position is part of a US-based team dedicated to technical excellence and continuous innovation, working closely with a manager and collaborative team members.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality network solutions, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems with GTD-5 switches requiring 5+ years of experience.
  • Deliver Tier 3 telephony and hardware support, including fault isolation and resolution.
  • Interface with customers, support teams, and vendors to resolve network issues.
  • Guide field teams on proper trouble isolation and hardware replacement.
  • Document internal processes and mentor other engineers.
  • Ensure accurate, timely ticket updates and participate in an on-call rotation.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years' hands-on GTD-5 hardware support and telephony troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience with call processing and translations.
  • Familiarity with central office procedures and ISO27001 compliance.
  • Strong communication, customer focus, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently from home and manage time effectively.
  • Degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
