Executive Director of Shared Services

The Executive Director of Shared Services will spearhead the integration of core support functions to ensure strategic alignment and operational excellence across the organization.

This role is pivotal in empowering program teams to deliver impactful services to beneficiaries. Each domain must meet its goals while supporting program delivery.

The Director will lead and integrate:

  • Fundraising
  • Finance & Compliance
  • Human Resources
  • Information Technology

Developing a robust risk and compliance framework is crucial in upholding the organization's gold standard reputation. The Director will also assist the CEO in developing and monitoring 3-year strategic plans, annual budgets, and Management Information Systems (MIS).

Key responsibilities include overseeing organization-wide talent management, including training, coaching, Performance Management System (PMS), and succession planning. An undergraduate degree is required; postgraduate studies in business, HR, technology, or finance/CA are preferred.

Desirable qualifications include:

  • ~20+ years of work experience
  • 10+ years in general management across multiple functions
  • Strategic planning and execution experience
  • Background in service-centric organizations with a strong focus on talent development

Experience in large, reputable organizations with strong governance is desirable but not mandatory. Preference for women candidates and/or persons with disability.

Ideal for professionals in their mid to late fifties or early VRS seeking a purpose-driven, high-impact role suitable for those not suited for passive retirement.
