Job Title: Laundry Attendant

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Laundry Attendant with our esteemed hospitality brand. As a key member of the laundry team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all guests' laundry is processed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Properly handle and process guests' laundry, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding.
  • Use equipment and chemicals responsibly and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Report any faulty equipment or issues to the laundry team leader immediately.
  • Handle guest items with care to avoid damage, shrinkage, or loss.
  • Collect guests' laundry when requested and ensure accurate room numbers are attached.
  • Inspect all laundry items before and after cleaning, noting any damages or discoloration.
  • Prepare costings for guests' laundry, ensuring prompt and accurate billing.
  • Package and deliver guests' laundry to their rooms.
  • Meet guests' needs and reasonable requests in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in laundry or customer service preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with laundry equipment and processes.
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy laundry loads.
