Highly Skilled Quality Assurance Professional

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Control Specialist to oversee inspection, testing, and quality assurance for castings and metal components.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inspection, testing, and quality assurance with proven ability to coordinate with third-party inspection agencies and ensure compliance with quality assurance plans (QAP).
Main Responsibilities:- Inspection:
- Visual Inspection of finished products to identify any defects or irregularities
- Dimensional Inspection to ensure accurate dimensions and tolerances
- Hydrostatic Pressure Testing to evaluate the integrity of castings and metal components
- Liquid Penetrant Testing (LPT) to detect surface defects
- Ultrasonic Testing (UT) to evaluate the internal structure of materials
- Radiographic Testing (RT) to examine the internal structure of materials
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Preparation and review of inspection reports (internal and third-party)
- Coordination & Communication:
- Liaising with third-party inspection agencies and on-site inspectors to ensure smooth execution of inspections as per schedule and client requirements
- Quality Assurance Plans (QAP):
- Thorough understanding and execution of QAPs based on specific customer standards and project requirements
- Internal Testing & Lab Analysis:
- Daily production testing and inspection in presence of Third-Party Inspectors
- Chemical analysis using Spectrometer (Spectro Analysis) to evaluate material properties
- Mechanical testing: Tensile & Hardness Testing to evaluate material strength
- Technical Collaboration:
- Technical coordination with NABL-accredited laboratories to ensure adherence to national/international testing standards
- Heat Treatment Process:
- Supervision and quality checks during heat treatment of castings to ensure optimal material properties
- Measuring Instruments & Calibration:
- Proficient in handling, usage, and calibration of precision measuring tools and gauges to ensure accuracy and reliability
