IT Support Specialist

As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to users of our application software. The role involves delivering expert-level support via phone, email or in-person.
The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of experience in a similar role and possess excellent problem-solving skills. You will be working closely with end-users to understand business issues and collaborate with the development team to reproduce reported issues in test environments.
The position involves monitoring performance of applications after implementation and communicating status and issues to supervisors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for user inquiries regarding errors, problems, or requests.
- Identify, research, and resolve technical problems using pre-established guidelines.
- Use a ticketing system to review and respond to support requests.
- Escalate urgent problems to internal resources or vendors as needed.
- Perform maintenance of existing custom software and provide end-user support.
Service Desk Tasks:
- Reset passwords and add/remove licenses.
- Fix broken network drives and troubleshoot client-side network connections.
- Add printers (local and networked) and install client-side software.
- Troubleshoot Office 365 issues and set up email on mobile devices.
You will also be responsible for answering incoming Service Desk emails by creating tickets and collecting basic client information.
