We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to lead our taxation team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tax Return Preparation and Review: Prepare and review complex financial services client returns, including Hedge Funds, Private Equity, and Fund of Funds blocker corporation returns and S-Corporation returns prepared by staff/senior.
  • State Tax Returns Review: Conduct detailed reviews of state returns for financial services clients.
  • International Filing Requirements: Identify international filing requirements by reviewing organizational charts and preparing international tax returns.
  • Training and Development: Train existing and new joiners on concepts, technology, and provide timely feedback on project reviews.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise kick-off calls to understand clients, conduct regular connects with US counterparts, and intervene in budget conflicts and resource scheduling conflicts.
  • Tax Adjustments: Guide staff/seniors on potential tax adjustments due to tax law changes and e-filing validations.
  • Recruitment and Performance Evaluation: Recruit, train, evaluate, and mentor team members.
Requirements:
  • Independent Research: Ability to conduct independent tax research in unseen tax scenarios.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Adaptability: Ready to learn new tax software and quick learner with a positive demeanor and a team player attitude.
  • Time Management: Able to work long hours during busy season times, meet deadlines, and work based on project urgency.
  • Multitasking: Good at multitasking and handling various projects simultaneously in an efficient manner.
  • Leadership: Ability to guide subordinates through technical problems and build working relationships with peers, supervisors, and U.S. colleagues.
Position Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Qualified Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant (US), or IRS Enrolled Agent.
  • Experience: Experience in detail review of tax returns and knowledge of CCh Axcess Tax, Gofile room, and Case ware.
  • Financial Services Experience: Relevant experience more than 5+ years with major experience into Financial Services Returns.
