As a Guest Services Associate, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences. Your responsibilities will include processing guest check-ins and check-outs, managing room assignments and changes, securing payments, and verifying billing information. You will also be responsible for communicating with staff to ensure guests receive timely assistance and coordinating with Housekeeping to track room status and guest concerns.
You will need to maintain accurate records, operate the telephone switchboard station, run reports, and provide directions to guests. Additionally, you will handle guest calls, requests, and questions, following up to ensure each issue is resolved to the guest's satisfaction. This may involve arranging transportation for guests or visitors and counting and securing bank at the beginning and end of shift.
To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You must be able to work effectively in a team environment and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information. You will also be expected to protect company assets, welcome guests according to company standards, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
