
Front Desk Service Manager

We are seeking an experienced Front Desk Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our front office department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing guest registrations, processing payments, and ensuring that all hotel systems are running smoothly.
Additionally, they will be expected to maintain a positive attitude and provide exceptional customer service to our guests.
- Guest Registration: Manage the registration process, including inputting and retrieving information, confirming guest details, and ensuring correct room selection.
- Promotions & Programs: Promote Hilton marketing programs, such as Hilton Honors, to ensure that guests are informed about special offers and benefits.
- Billing and Payments: Ensure accurate billing, process guest payments, and handle any issues related to charges or payments, including foreign currency exchange.
- Guest Interaction: Greet guests with a friendly welcome, listen to their requests, respond appropriately, and provide accurate information on hotel services and amenities.
- Complaint Resolution: Handle guest complaints promptly and efficiently, escalating to the Duty Manager or Guest Relations Manager when necessary, and following up to ensure satisfaction.
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- Strong Leadership and Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain a calm demeanor under pressure.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work cooperatively within a team and communicate effectively across departments.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to handle complaints and resolve issues promptly while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in all aspects of guest service, from registrations to billing and room assignments.
- Knowledge of Hotel Systems: Familiarity with hotel software, such as Fidelio, OnQ, and other relevant systems.
