Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Real Estate Asset Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our diverse portfolio.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing vendor payments, insurance coverage, and lease agreements in Yardi software. They will also communicate with management and tenants regarding billing and lease language.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Manage third party vendor payments and on-time mortgage payments
  2. Maintain and manage insurance coverage and handle insurance claims
  3. Enter lease agreement information & rent schedules in Yardi
  4. Communicate with management and tenants regarding billing and lease language
  5. Enter deposits and apply payments to tenant accounts, as needed
  6. Assist with tenant aged receivables audits and collection efforts
  7. Cash Flow Reporting and Analysis: Collect and populate data into a cash flow spreadsheet, Review GL for income and expense entries that require reclassification, Review and analyze leasing projection and activity
  8. Lease Administration and Tenant Relations: Collaborate with leasing teams to ensure lease compliance, accurate documentation, and timely renewal negotiations, Identify potential risks and opportunities related to lease terms and conditions
  9. Tenant Year-End Reconciliations: Set-up reconciliation data and calculation format in Yardi, Prepare tenant year-end reconciliation calculations, either manually or in Yardi
  10. Administrative Support to Executives: General administrative duties that support company executives

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent follow-up skills – Billing related
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact and engage tenants
  • Advanced knowledge of general and cost accounting and financial statements
  • Creative and problem-solving mindset to resolve Tenant billing issues
  • Professional and emotional maturity, honesty, integrity, and a strong work ethic
  • A strong sense of teamwork and self-motivation
  • A minimum of 3 years professional experience in property management in Yardi is required
  • Expert-level proficiency working with Yardi and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) required
