Job Overview

In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to lead the Quality Assurance (QA) function for a cutting-edge Core Banking implementation program. Your expertise will ensure high-quality delivery across all phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive QA strategies, test plans, and automation frameworks aligned with the bank's digital transformation goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams/project testing team to validate business requirements, identify defects, and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and mentor QA teams across onsite/offshore locations.
  • Lead the Core Production Implementation function within strict SLA, schedule, and scope parameters, including rigorous testing & overseeing quality and compliance controls throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Promote the transformation of core banking applications to the next version. In-depth knowledge on Functional Architecture of the core system of the bank and experience in managing implementation of digital core is highly valued.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional leadership skills with ability to manage QA planning, execution, and reporting for FLEXCUBE Core Banking implementations.
  • Detailed understanding of test strategies for functional, integration, regression, UAT, and performance testing.
  • Effective management of QA teams and coordination with Business Analysts, Developers, and Vendors.
  • Thorough review and validation of Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Specifications.
  • Ensuring traceability of requirements through test cases and defect tracking.
  • Overseeing defect triaging, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking.
  • Strategic defect management, reporting, and escalation.
  • Guaranteeing readiness for production cutover through rigorous testing and simulation.
  • Implementing and maintaining test automation frameworks where applicable.
  • Maintaining SDLC, QA standards, Governance, and risk management policies.
