Job Title: Fuel System Engineer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fuel System Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the design, development, and integration of fuel system components for hybrid/electric vehicle programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality fuel system components (pipes, tanks, pumps, valves, etc.) that meet or exceed customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including CAD Engineers, Lead Engineers, SMEs, and suppliers to ensure seamless design releases and issue resolution.
  • Ensure vehicle installation feasibility and compliance with powertrain functionality by conducting thorough testing and validation.
  • Manage supplier relationships for timely delivery, quality compliance, and technical support.
  • Work with PCDS, eAPQP, and EBER systems to deliver robust program results.
  • Utilize 3DX tools for design, validation, and release to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Prepare and present technical documents/reports to stakeholders, providing clear and concise information on project progress and results.

Requirements:

  • 6-9 years of experience in fuel system component design/development.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle installation and powertrain requirements.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with PCDS, eAPQP, and EBER delivery systems.
  • Hands-on experience with 3DX CAD tools.
