We are seeking a seasoned testing professional to join our team as a Senior Tester.
The ideal candidate will have real-time experience and contribute to the company's ongoing growth.
Key qualifications include 8-10 years of experience in creating test cases, executing tests, reporting bugs, and collaborating with developers.
- Expertise in manual testing with at least 5 years of experience
- Experience with RESTful Web services API automation using REST Assured is beneficial
- Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Maven, and CICD Tools
- Testing of Cloud hosted applications and customer-facing applications
- Prior experience in payments industry or similar field is desirable but not essential
- Ability to create test automation for APIs, single or multiple microservices
- Strong understanding of SDLC and troubleshooting abilities
- Proficiency in SQL and technical skills such as Nodes/JavaScript or other relevant languages
- Extensive API test experience
- Adherence to standards and leading practices for testing processes and continuous improvement
- Quality management principles and practices to work with users, testers, developers, and stakeholders
- Defect resolution and defect burn down across all related parties
- Able to remove blocking issues to ensure progress, pace, and velocity needs
- Effective management and prioritization of functional and technical backlogs
- Thorough technical, analytical, and operational knowledge within the QA area
- Perform initial debugging procedures by reviewing configuration files, logs, or code pieces
- Collaboration with teams and minimal supervision
- Experience with agile development methodologies
This role requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as a solid understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
