About this role

This is a senior leadership position for a tester lead who will be responsible for leading the user acceptance testing efforts for our ecommerce platform.

The ideal candidate will have experience in leading UAT efforts and ensuring that all business requirements are met and the platform delivers a seamless user experience across web and mobile channels.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to validate end-to-end functionality before production release.
  • Develop and execute test plans, schedules, and resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. UAT Planning & Strategy
  2. Define UAT scope, objectives, and success criteria.
  3. Develop UAT test plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
  4. Align testing goals with business and customer expectations.
  5. Test Case Management
  6. Oversee creation and execution of test cases based on business requirements.
  7. Ensure coverage of critical ecommerce flows (e.g., product search, cart, checkout, payment, returns).
  8. Defect Management
  9. Track, analyze, and escalate defects.
  10. Collaborate with development and QA teams for resolution.
  11. Stakeholder Communication
  12. Facilitate UAT sign-off and ensure stakeholder alignment.
  13. Environment & Data Setup
  14. Ensure UAT environment mirrors production.
  15. Manage test data preparation and validation.
  16. Compliance & Documentation
  17. Ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, customer journeys, and payment gateways.
  • Hands-on experience on Magento is a must-have with an in-depth knowledge of functional flow and admin flows.
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, TestRail, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
