About the role

As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and creating new opportunities for Builder. You'll identify and qualify high-potential leads, and pass them to the senior sales team for further development. Your role will determine the success and pace of growth for the entire company, developing the pipeline of future customers.

Responsibilities

  1. Perform inbound and outbound lead generation activities to support the sales teams.
  2. Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to identify target industries and organizations.
  3. Gain a deep understanding of these target industries and organizations, including their challenges and goals.
  4. Prospect into target organizations using a range of sales tools, campaigns, events, and referrals.
  5. Achieve monthly goals for qualified opportunities for the sales team.
  6. Maintain the CRM system, ensuring all information is conveyed to the sales team.
  7. Develop a deep understanding of Builder's unique selling points and communicate them effectively.
  8. Create excellent templates for emails and phone calls, and continually test and improve them.

Requirements

  1. Previous experience in an SDR or inside sales capacity is essential.
  2. Experience working in a high-paced team environment, with a balance of teamwork and independent work.
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of self-starting or working in a start-up environment.
  4. Capacity and willingness to learn and develop are essential.
  5. Experience in cloud computing, start-ups, or AI is preferred but not mandatory.
  6. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business is preferred.
  7. 2-5 years of sales experience is ideal.
