About this Insurance Business Analyst role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic business analyst to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- 6-9 years of experience working as a Business Analyst in the Insurance domain, with a focus on Property & Casualty (P&C).
- Experience in process and data mapping is preferred.
Responsibilities:
As a detail-oriented and strategic Business Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders to analyze business processes, identify gaps, and create detailed mappings to support system implementations, process improvements, and regulatory compliance.
Key Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders across underwriting, claims, policy servicing, and IT to gather and document business requirements.
- Create detailed as-is and to-be process maps using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or ARIS to visualize workflows and identify inefficiencies.
- Define and document data flows between systems, ensuring alignment with business rules and regulatory requirements.
- Identify gaps between current and desired states and propose actionable solutions.
- Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Prepare BRDs, FRDs, use cases, and user stories to support development and testing teams.
- Assist in UAT planning, execution, and defect tracking to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Ensure mapped processes adhere to insurance regulations and support risk mitigation strategies.
