Job Title: Senior Reserving Actuary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Reserving Actuary to join our team in analyzing and estimating reserves for P&C insurance products.

This role involves collaborating with the Reserving Team, applying various reserving methods and techniques, analyzing data, and performing actuarial calculations to assess risks and determine appropriate reserve levels.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in actuarial sciences, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and experience working with Solvency II or IFRS 17 requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze and estimate reserves for P&C insurance products using various reserving methods and techniques.
  • Collaborate with the Reserving Team to develop and enhance reserving tools, models, and processes.
  • Prepare and present actuarial findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes related to reserving.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in engineering, economics, mathematics, actuarial sciences, statistics.
  • Affiliation to IAI or IFOA, with at least 8-9 CT actuarial exams.
  • At least 5yrs+ Actuarial experience in the P&C insurance industry.
  • Strong reserving experience or good knowledge of reserving methods and techniques.
  • Experience with Solvency II or IFRS 17 is a plus.
