A highly skilled Test Manager is required to lead our QA strategy and drive the adoption of test automation in CI/CD pipelines.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned professional with over 12 years of experience in quality engineering and test automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Java Selenium automation frameworks, strong understanding of BDD (Cucumber), build tools like Maven, test frameworks like TestNG, and experience in version control systems like Git. A solid background in Functional, UI, API, and Database testing is a must, along with good exposure to Performance Testing concepts and tools.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing QA strategy across projects, leading and mentoring a team of QA engineers, overseeing the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks, managing test planning, execution, and reporting, driving the adoption of test automation in CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with development, DevOps, and product teams, owning and managing QA-related tools, infrastructure, and process improvements, ensuring traceability of test cases to requirements, maintaining test metrics/dashboards, reviewing and approving test plans, test cases, and defect reports, performing risk analysis, and advocating for quality across the SDLC.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Define and implement QA strategy across projects.
  2. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers (manual and automation).
  3. Oversee development and maintenance of test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, Cucumber (BDD).
  4. Manage test planning, execution, and reporting across UI, API, DB, and Performance testing scopes.
  5. Drive the adoption of test automation in CI/CD pipelines.
  6. Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
  7. Own and manage QA-related tools, infrastructure, and process improvements.
  8. Ensure traceability of test cases to requirements and maintain test metrics/dashboards.
  9. Review and approve test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
  10. Perform risk analysis and provide mitigation strategies for testing challenges.
  11. Advocate for quality across the SDLC.

To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as strong technical knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools. You should also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
