Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned expert in software architecture to lead the design and development of our applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of agile principles and be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

About the Role

The application architect will be responsible for analyzing current application architecture, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies to enhance performance and quality. They will work closely with developers to implement new features and technologies, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Analyze existing application architecture and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Design and develop new application features and components
  • Collaborate with developers to implement changes and ensure smooth system operation
  • Monitor and improve application performance and quality

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Technical Skills:
  • Java programming language and related frameworks (e.g., J2EE, Spring Boot)
  • Distributed databases (e.g., Cassandra, MongoDB)
  • Messaging systems (e.g., IBM MQ, Kafka)
  • In-memory data grids (e.g., Redis, Hazelcast)

Experience and Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development and architecture is preferred. You should have a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Bonus Points

If you have experience with cloud-based services, such as AWS or Azure, that's a big plus. Additionally, proficiency in DevOps tools and methodologies would be highly valued.
