Procurement Specialist Job Summary

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for sourcing and procuring spare parts, consumables, and technical equipment for vessels. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation and vendor management skills, as well as excellent leadership and communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and procure spare parts, consumables, and technical equipment for vessels.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and high-quality products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure reliable support.
  • Process purchase requisitions from vessels and fleet management teams efficiently.
  • Ensure accurate and timely order placement, tracking, and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to arrange timely delivery of goods to vessels at ports worldwide.
