We are seeking an Application Packaging Specialist to support the preparation, testing, and release of software within customer environments. This includes incident resolution and request fulfillment, as well as BAU support for the Endpoint environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and implement the right packaging approach for applications, depending on their specific requirements.
  • Execute the application packaging process according to agreed processes and SLA limits, including intake, packaging, technical testing, documentation, deployment, maintenance, and resolution of incidents and requests related to packages.
  • Liaise with change management, customers, application owners, and vendors as necessary to ensure smooth package delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and support customer environments built with Windows client operating systems, Active Directory Group Policy, Microsoft Defender, SoftwareCentral, and the Microsoft Intune product family.
  • Respond to and resolve assigned incidents, ensuring appropriate actions are taken to prevent SLA breaches or unforeseen business impact.
  • Update the customer and ITSM ticket throughout its lifecycle.
Requirements:
  • At least 4 years of experience in preparing applications for deployment on Windows Operating Systems, employing setup commands/scripting, repackaging, and customizing setup applications using tooling such as InstallShield and RayPack.
  • Required Skills:
    • Thorough knowledge of MSI and MSIX packaging frameworks.
    • Thorough knowledge of Windows 11 and AD Group Policies.
    • Intermediate level knowledge of PowerShell Scripting and basic level VB scripting for automating application installations.
    • Operational knowledge of Microsoft Intune product family, including Microsoft Configuration Manager, focusing on application creation/integration and deployment.
    • Possess excellent troubleshooting and logical reasoning skills.
    • Experience working in an ITIL-based operations environment using ITSM toolsets such as ServiceNow.
    Bonus Requirements:
    • Experience in preparing applications for Citrix environments.
    • Microsoft Certifications (e.g., MD-100, MD-101, MD-102).
    • Experience supporting multiple customer environments simultaneously.
    • Experience working in international environments.
