Senior Programme Lead

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Senior Programme Lead to oversee the successful delivery of programmes from inception through completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication, ensuring that all programme goals align with the organization's strategic objectives.

The Senior Programme Lead will work closely with stakeholders to define programme scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives. They will develop comprehensive programme plans and associated documentation, coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for seamless execution, and manage changes in programme scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.

The role also involves identifying and managing programme risks and issues, creating mitigation and contingency plans, and tracking programme performance to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals. Additionally, the Senior Programme Lead will provide regular status updates and programme reports to stakeholders and senior management, ensuring resource availability and allocation across cross-functional teams.

  • Bachelor's degree in Programme Management, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field is required.
  • Professional certification in Programme Management (e.g., PRINCE2) is an asset.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira, Trello).
  • Strong understanding of formal programme management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and time-management skills.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience working in software development or similar industry is beneficial.
  • Budget management experience is advantageous.
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation skills are essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
