We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team in a role that involves the development, maintenance, and enhancement of Mainframe-based applications and systems. This position requires strong technical skills, excellent analytical abilities, and effective communication skills to work closely with business teams and deliver solutions that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Application Development & Maintenance: Develop, maintain, and enhance Mainframe-based applications using languages such as COBOL, PLI, Assembler, or REXX.
  • Database Management: Manage and maintain Mainframe databases (e.g., DB2, IMS DB, IDMS) to ensure data integrity, availability, and optimal performance.

This role also involves performing system analysis, debugging, optimization, and monitoring batch job scheduling systems like CA7 or ControlM. Additionally, you will be responsible for working with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Strong experience with Mainframe development languages such as COBOL, PLI, Assembler, and REXX.
  • Hands-on experience managing Mainframe databases like DB2, IMS DB, or IDMS.
  • Proficiency in using batch job scheduling systems such as CA7 or ControlM.
