Job Title: Senior Backend Developer

We are looking for a seasoned Backend Expert to lead the development and enhancement of our Loyalty platform.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in .NET Core, Entity Framework, MySQL, and Microservices architecture.

As a key member of our team, you will report to the Tech Lead and play a critical role in shaping our product strategy while delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance backend responsibilities.

  1. Design and Develop Scalable Applications: Utilize .NET Core, Entity Framework, LINQ, and C# to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications.
  2. Integrate Platform Components: Develop and consume RESTful APIs to integrate multiple platform components.
  3. Implement Swagger/OpenAPI Specifications: Implement and maintain Swagger/OpenAPI specifications for API documentation and testing.
  4. Secure API Authentication: Design and implement secure API authentication using JWT, OAuth, and other security standards.
  5. Optimize Database Performance: Write optimized LINQ queries and perform database optimization for applications using MySQL.
  6. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, UI/UX, and product owners.
  7. Participate in Agile Ceremonies: Participate in Agile ceremonies such as Scrum, Sprint Planning, and daily stand-ups.
  8. Conduct Code Reviews: Conduct code reviews, contribute to architecture decisions, and maintain high coding standards.
  9. Troubleshoot Production Issues: Troubleshoot production issues ensuring high availability and performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in .NET Core development.
  • Strong expertise in .NET Core, Entity Framework, LINQ, C#, and MongoDB.
  • 2+ years of experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git or Bitbucket.
  • Exposure to loyalty platforms, fintech projects, or E-Commerce/B2C skills.
