Economic Research Specialist

To support the Manufacturing department in research economic issues, conduct surveys and collect data, analyze data using analytical models and statistical techniques.

  • Develop a strategic research agenda and create detailed reports on various economic topics. At least one report should be submitted within a year.
  • Collaborate with ministries, universities, think tanks, and other agencies on research assignments. A co-authored report or publication with Government/Academia is expected.
  • Identify key areas for research and work with stakeholders to prioritize topics.
  • Prepare discussion points and talking points for meetings and forums to provide relevant content for effective delivery.
  • Maintain crisp presentation skills during committee, council, or government meetings.
  • Understand stakeholder concerns and develop recommendations for solutions.

Qualifications Key Skills/Attributes Required

A postgraduate degree in Economics from a reputable university in India or abroad is necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Excellent domain knowledge and understanding
  • Conceptualization and consultative abilities
  • Effective communication and presentation skills

Strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.
