About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Quality Engineering Manager with proven expertise in establishing and scaling automation solutions for large, complex systems.

This role blends thought leadership, technical depth, and team management—helping clients implement cutting-edge QA automation strategies that ensure speed, quality, and reliability across diverse applications and technology stacks.

You'll be responsible for shaping automation strategy, leading technical delivery, mentoring teams, and partnering with stakeholders to design end-to-end QA processes that align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Thought Leadership

  • Consult with clients to define QA strategies and automation solutions.
  • Design and implement enterprise-wide QA strategies across complex multi-stack applications.
  • Provide guidance on QA best practices, automation ROI, and adoption roadmaps.

Technical Leadership

  • Establish and optimize automation frameworks, tools, and processes.
  • Oversee design, architecture reviews, and technical delivery of automation solutions.
  • Define and implement continuous testing strategies (CI/CD, DevOps).
  • Ensure complete QA coverage across requirement analysis, test design, automation, execution, and reporting.

Team Leadership & Delivery

  • Mentor, guide, and upskill team members on technical and domain expertise.
  • Drive planning, estimation, resource allocation, and execution tracking.
  • Act as a quality evangelist—ensuring adherence to project standards and QA guidelines.
  • Provide clear test reporting, including coverage, metrics, defect status, and delivery readiness.

Qualifications & Skills:

Mandatory

  • 10–14 years of overall QA/testing experience with 4+ years in automation leadership roles.
  • Strong Java/JavaScript programming skills including Java collection frameworks.
  • Hands-on expertise with automation tools: Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, SOAPUI, WebDriver IO, Nightwatch, etc.
  • Proven track record of framework development (greenfield projects).
  • Strong experience in UI & API automation (Webservices/Microservices).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools: GitLab, Jenkins.
  • Cloud experience: AWS and cloud-based test platforms (e.g., Sauce Labs, Perfecto).
  • Working knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter or equivalent).
  • In-depth understanding of Agile, BDD, and DevOps practices.

Preferred

  • Prior industry experience in Financial Services.
  • Exposure to enterprise-scale, multi-stack QA environments.
