Job Title: Cost Accounting Manager

As a key member of the finance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our cost accounting processes. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Analysis: Provide detailed financial analysis to inform business decisions, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare comprehensive budgets and forecasts, working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Cost Reporting: Develop and maintain accurate cost reporting systems, providing regular insights into cost trends and variances.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure accurate inventory valuation and implement robust processes to minimize obsolescence and improve turnover.
  • Internal Controls & Compliance: Maintain high standards of internal control and compliance, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve costing methods and accounting processes, driving efficiency and accuracy.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Institute of Cost and Works Accountants (ICWA) certification is required. CA or equivalent qualification is also preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, or a related field in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including macros. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to communicate complex financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
