Job Opportunity: Senior Accounting Professional

A prominent organization is seeking a seasoned accounting expert to oversee the financial operations of their Real Estate division.

The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in Commerce and 3+ years of experience in corporate accounting, specifically in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) using QuickBooks.

The selected professional will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, and developing in-depth knowledge of client financial matters.

Beyond technical skills, the successful applicant will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform reconciliations to ensure accuracy and transparency in financial reporting
  • Develop and maintain a system to account for financial transactions, including establishing a chart of accounts
  • Maintain historical records by filing documents and ensuring compliance with legal requirements
  • Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
  • Advise management on necessary actions to maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in corporate/business sector accounting
  • Hands-on experience in AP, AR using QuickBooks in Real Estate Accounting
  • Education background with either a Bachelor's or Master's in Commerce
  • Good English communication skills
  • Knowledge of GAAP, US Accounting, and Taxation process
  • Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas
  • Candidate must be a CPA candidate or enrolled
