Storage Expert Position

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a Storage Expert position. The primary focus of this role involves designing, planning, and supporting the configuration of logical and physical NAS layouts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 10-15 years of experience in Enterprise Storage Management with 8-10 years of relevant experience in NetApp 7-Mode and Clustered Data ONTAP.
  • Design and plan the installation and configuration of all NetApp software packages as needed to support business requirements.
  • Create and manage scripts to automate administrative tasks and provide system-level reports.
  • Analyse and develop solutions based on established service agreements for capacity planning and performance tuning.
  • Participate in the development of NAS and NetApp level solution standards.

Responsibilities also include ensuring vendors and services providers are providing optimal value, reviewing team work, creating, maintaining, and contributing to IT standard or service catalog item definitions, and leading efforts to improve processes and meet strategic goals.

Requirements:
  • A strong understanding of OnCommand tools is necessary, including OCI, WFA, OCUM, and OPM.
  • Experience working closely with Incident Management and Change Management teams is also required.

This role requires a deep knowledge of storage systems and expertise in implementing efficient NAS layouts. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this position.
