Oracle Database Leader

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of high-availability Oracle environments using Oracle RAC and Data Guard.
- Oversee administration and maintenance of Oracle Exadata systems, including patching, monitoring, resource management, and performance tuning.
- Coordinate Oracle database migrations to cloud platforms, including planning and execution of backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Perform advanced SQL and database performance tuning, query optimization, and system diagnostics to ensure optimal database health.
- Plan and execute patching and upgrade activities, including major version upgrades, to maintain database security, integrity, and compliance with corporate standards and policies.
- Automate routine DBA tasks using shell scripting, PL/SQL, or tools like Ansible to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
- Monitor database health and proactively resolve issues before they impact business operations.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and cloud teams for database provisioning, sizing, and capacity planning to ensure seamless integration.
- Maintain accurate documentation of database configurations, policies, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide support for critical production systems to ensure continuous uptime.
