We are seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our critical Oracle database environments.

Job Description
  • Manage, maintain, and optimize Oracle database environments for high availability, performance, and security.
  • Implement database management and maintenance strategies to ensure data integrity and reduce downtime.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator with strong focus on Oracle 12c.
  • In-depth knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL programming.
  • Experience with RMAN for backup and recovery.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems for Oracle database environments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Database Management & Maintenance:
  • Install, configure, and maintain Oracle Database 12c instances across various environments.
  • Perform regular database backups, restores, and ensure disaster recovery readiness using RMAN.
  • Implement and manage database security, including user permissions, roles, and encryption (TDE).
  • Conduct routine database health checks, monitoring, and maintenance tasks such as indexing, partitioning, and integrity checks.
  • Performance Tuning & Optimization:
  • Monitor database performance using tools like AWR, ADDM, and ASH, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for performance tuning.
  • Optimize SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures, and database schemas for improved efficiency.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex database-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • High Availability & Scalability:
  • Implement and manage high availability solutions like Oracle Data Guard, Real Application Clusters (RAC), and flashback technologies.
  • Plan and execute database scaling strategies to support growing data volumes and user loads.
