Logistics Sourcing Manager Position

Job Description:

As a Logistics Sourcing Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving strategic sourcing initiatives for our company's logistics and warehousing operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective commodity, cost, and spend management strategies to optimize supply chain performance.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, with expertise in annual budgeting, planning, and target setting. They will also have excellent negotiation skills, leadership quality, and the ability to handle a team of managers.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings and improve supply chain efficiency;
  • Managing supplier relationships and evaluating suppliers for contract awards;
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of sourcing initiatives into overall business objectives;
  • Providing regular updates and reports on sourcing progress to senior management;

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field;
  • At least 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management;
  • Proven track record of delivering cost savings and improving supply chain efficiency;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills;
