About the Opportunity:

  • To oversee purchasing and logistics operations, guaranteeing compliance with established standards and procedures.
  • Execute assigned activities in accordance with ABB's standard operating procedures.
  • Pursue training programs to ensure adherence to regulations and enhance professional growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Strategize and implement effective purchasing and logistics plans to optimize costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied goods.
  • Develop and execute localized sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives to achieve set targets.
  • Support the implementation of effective localized sourcing strategies that meet current and future business requirements.
  • Apply and implement procurement standards, tools, and processes within your area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability.

Requirements:

  • A full-time engineering graduate with 4 to 6 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in supplier quality management tools and systems for collaboration, reporting, and monitoring.
  • Clear understanding of ABB customers' needs and expectations.
  • Experience in Microsoft business tools (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Outlook) knowledge of SAP is an added advantage.
