Lead Data Strategist Opportunity

We seek a seasoned data professional to drive our organization's data architecture strategy. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in developing and maintaining scalable, high-performance data models, data warehouses, and data integration solutions.

The successful candidate will lead the design and implementation of data systems that meet business goals and industry best practices. This involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into effective solutions.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining data architecture strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Designing and implementing scalable, high-performance data models, data warehouses, and data integration solutions
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into effective solutions

The chosen candidate will also be responsible for creating and managing ETL pipelines for data movement and transformation across systems. Additionally, they will conduct performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting of data systems to ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards.

As a technical leader, they will provide mentorship to data engineers and analysts. They will also evaluate and recommend modern tools and technologies to strengthen the organization's data capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery. They should also be proficient in programming languages including Python, Scala, R, PHP, Golang, .NET, C#, Shell Scripting, NodeJS.

Other required skill sets include expertise in cloud data platforms (CDP), Data Lake/Delta Lake, Databricks/Spark, Snowflake, Hadoop, Kafka, Cassandra, MongoDB, Azure SQL, Redshift, Oracle, MySQL. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, as well as knowledge of DevOps tools: Git, Ansible, Jenkins, Chef.

Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS applications (ADO, Salesforce, Workday, SAP, etc.) is also necessary. The chosen candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects effectively.
