Job Overview:

As a highly skilled Data Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and building scalable data platforms to support our online, batch, and streaming use cases. You will be responsible for developing core libraries in Python and Golang for interaction with internal data stores.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Ingestion and Storage: Create scalable data ingestion systems and data lakes to handle large volumes of data from various sources.
  2. SLA Management: Define and maintain internal SLAs for data infrastructure to ensure high-quality data delivery.
  3. Technology Selection: Work with technologies like Kafka, Presto, Pinot, Flink, Mongo, Redis, and Spark to design and develop scalable core services with good abstractions and architecture.
  4. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in data platforms and research emerging data technologies to support business growth.

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalability principles.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Golang.
  • Experience with big data technologies like Kafka, Presto, Pinot, Flink, Mongo, Redis, and Spark.
