Operations Manager Role

 

To ensure continuous, uninterrupted availability of Ancillary Instrumentation and Electrical services for the unit, we implement systems that meet high standards of quality, reduce operating costs, and achieve EHS excellence.

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
  • 5-15 years of experience in similar roles with strong knowledge of Process Industry/Petrochemical/Sugar/Refinery operations, Maintenance, and Utility areas.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure timely completion of critical heavy Engineering machinery maintenance and repairs while maintaining their Electrical and Instrumentation sections.

Operate, maintain, and monitor PLC/SCADA automation systems, Field instrumentation like Pressure Transmitters, Temperature Transmitters, Control Valves, UPS, CCTV cameras, FADS, and other assets on site.

Program and maintain VFDs to optimize performance and efficiency.

 

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of operation and maintenance of Instrumentation, PLC/SCADA/VFD/FIELD INSTRUMENTATION/UPS/CCTV/FADS etc.
  • Excellent understanding of Electrical systems, including PCC/MCC panel, Transformers, and related equipment.
  • Maintenance practices such as preventive, Predictive, condition monitoring, etc.
  • Project Management skills, Resource Management, Team Building & Motivation, Report writing/proposal drafting skills, Project implementation skills, Assessment/appraisal skills to identify training needs, Stakeholder Management, Execute brown field / green field Projects in adherence to time and budget.
