Job Role Summary

A Senior Analyst is required to support the CFO's office of an European private equity client, typically in corporate accounting and statutory reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage financial controls activities, including journal postings, reconciliations, and proofs.
  • Constantly monitor requests coming through various channels and allocate ad-hoc activities among team members.
  • Coordinating with different teams to collate information on a timely basis and communicating with clients on task status.
  • Review reconciliation results, regular reports, and ad-hoc requests prepared by the team and ensure they meet best quality standards.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc analysis/reports based on client/team requests.
  • Improve current reports and work with team/other counterparts to add value consistently.
  • Work with other teams within the larger project group in special projects.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in consolidation of financial statements as per IFRS.
  • Ability to understand group structure and review relevant consolidation adjustment entries.
  • Ability to analyze variances between actual and budgeted operating expenses.
  • Ability to review results of transaction reconciliations in Intercompany, control accounts, Bank, and others.

Key Skills

  • Good working knowledge in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Good working knowledge of PowerBI.
  • Exposure to business software applications such as SAP, business dynamics, and others.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills.

Additional Requirements

  • Valid passport.
  • Willingness to work from Infosys office in Bangalore.
  • Immediate joiners would be preferred.
