This role is responsible for delivering commercial success in designated territories through the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales and marketing plans to drive volumes, achieve growth targets, and enhance brand presence.
  • Conduct annual volume planning and phasing, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Establish and monitor individual sales objectives on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, driving NSV achievement and market share growth.
  • Ensure timely delivery of brand mix and manage channel relationships to maintain revenue growth.
  • Identify opportunities for business expansion, focusing on increasing Share of Business (Market Share) across segments.

Relationship Management:

  • Maintain strong relationships with key accounts to ensure overall pipeline and revenue growth within channels and territories.
  • Engage channels to close sales and deliver services, enhancing market share and customer satisfaction.
  • Establish trust and rapport with channel partners, anticipating needs and providing tailored product solutions to meet their expectations.

Strategic Alliances:

  • Meet WOD targets by ensuring relevant brands and variants are available at designated outlets.
  • Manage new product launches in regions, guaranteeing availability and listing at outlets.
  • Negotiate and finalize annual contracts and terms of trade with key accounts, driving win-win partnerships.
  • Select and negotiate contracts with top-performing outlets, fostering mutually beneficial agreements.

Execution and Tracking:

  • Execute activations smoothly and on-time, selecting the right outlets to meet marketing plan objectives.
  • Collaborate with outlets for menu card listings and availability, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on brand performance, including forecasts and trends.
  • Optimize brand usage and promotional elements, measuring effectiveness and ROI of consumer activations.
  • Cordinate with 3rd party agencies for activation executions, emphasizing timely delivery and outlet selection.

Customer Management and MIS:

  • Regularly visit designated on-premise accounts to cultivate relationships and provide excellent service, as per PJP and beat plan.
  • Keep the trade informed about pricing, promotions, and other relevant updates.
  • Submit accurate and timely claims and daily/monthly sales reports, maintaining transparent communication.
  • Monitor competitors' activities, bulk deals, and report any concerns to the line manager immediately.

Customer Marketing Initiatives:

  • Maintain organization standards regarding quality, distribution, visibility, promotion, price, and persuasion at outlets.
  • Effectively train customer staff on products, execute tastings, and present products through DBA-Art of Blending for consumers.
  • Implement marketing plans at outlets according to state/regional marketing team guidelines, adhering to company policies, resources, and budgets.

Process and Systems:

  • Review customers' credit status and collect outstanding amounts as per USL credit policy where applicable.
  • Ensure timely submission of claims with required documentation.
  • Coordinate with Finance department weekly to ensure accounts remain in good standing.
  • Settle and pay outlets according to agreed terms.
