EDI Integration Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and Maintain EDI Solutions

Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions to ensure smooth electronic data interchange with trading partners.

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams

Work closely with various teams to integrate EDI with Order Management Systems (OMS), ensuring efficient order processing, inventory management, and fulfillment.

Manage EDI Mapping and Communication Processes

Oversee and support EDI mapping, translation, and communication processes with external partners.

Support Customers and Partners

Work with customers and external partners to onboard, test, and maintain EDI connections.

Resolve EDI-Related Issues

Identify and resolve EDI-related issues, including transmission errors, mapping discrepancies, and communication failures.

Ensure Compliance and Documentation

Guarantee compliance with industry standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and maintain detailed technical documentation.

Collaborate with IT Teams

Work with IT teams to support system upgrades, patches, and integration efforts as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience

A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or relevant experience is required.

Proven Experience with IBM Sterling

Hands-on experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and/or IBM Sterling File Gateway is essential.

Extensive Knowledge of EDI Standards

Thorough understanding of EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and industry-specific transaction sets is necessary.

Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required to troubleshoot complex EDI issues.

As an EDI Integration Specialist, you will play a key role in our organization's success by providing expert-level support for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions.
