Cloud Solutions Architect Job Description

This is a high-level, strategic role that focuses on designing and implementing cloud-based solutions for our clients.

  • Job Responsibilities:

    • Design and propose cloud architecture using open-source cloud orchestrators such as CloudStack.
    • Engage with customers to demonstrate our solutions and communicate key differentiators.
    • Assist customers with initial product evaluations and testing.
    • Connect the dots between technical project requirements and business needs.
    • Respond to RFI/RFPs and communicate product differentiators.
    • Prepare and deliver differentiated solution presentations or technical proposals.
    • Manage and/or deliver technical validation activities including Proof Of Concepts.

Must Have Skills:

  • Experience in implementing cloud solutions in an enterprise environment.
  • Thorough understanding of cloud technologies and concepts, working knowledge in at least one of the leading private cloud platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of network and application security, infrastructure hardening, security baselines, web server, and database security.
  • Excellent written communication skills and experience in preparing technical proposals, RFP responses, and BoQs.
  • High presentation skills and composure in front of all levels of technical and business customers or prospects.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Relevant bachelor's degree.
  • 7 plus years of experience.
