Cloud Security Specialist

  • To protect our data and applications, we need a robust cloud security strategy. We are looking for an experienced Cloud Security Specialist to design and implement the most effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • We require a comprehensive security policy that covers all our cloud-based systems. The successful candidate will develop and maintain this policy.
  • The selected individual will configure and manage cloud security tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption.
  • A thorough security audit and vulnerability assessment must be performed regularly to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • An incident response plan should be in place to minimize the impact of security incidents.
  • The chosen candidate should stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies and provide advice on best practices for cloud security.

Requirements:

  • We seek an individual with 5+ years of experience in cloud security engineering, particularly focused on GCP environment.
  • The successful candidate should have a strong understanding of the shared responsibility model and security risks associated with hosting cloud-based applications and data.
  • Familiarity with cloud security posture management (CSPM) tools, policy-as-code (Rego), and event-driven serverless-based security controls is essential.
  • The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DevOps processes and workflows, secure SDLC process, and infrastructure as code (IaC) tooling.
  • Excellent communication, written, and interpersonal skills are required.
