Cloud Security Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to join our team. This is a key role in shaping the security and compliance of our cloud infrastructure.

This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based security controls and solutions that align with industry best practices. As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our cloud infrastructure meets the highest standards of security, reliability, and scalability.

  • Propose and implement advanced cloud architectures, ensuring continuous alignment with key cloud providers such as AWS and Google.
  • Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure, focusing on automation, resilience, and security.
  • Support the continuous evolution of our client's infrastructure as code approach, ensuring advanced levels of automation throughout the lifecycle of all workloads.
  • Evaluate and address potential security risks in our cloud infrastructure, ensuring there are no single points of failure.
  • Continuously improve efficiency when setting up new cloud infrastructure and maintaining existing instances, ensuring automation, resilience, and security.
Requirements:
  • Experience with Docker and Linux systems management.
  • Proven experience in Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Experience with Git, GitHub, BitBucket or Stash, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo.
  • Solid experience with at least one programming/scripting language, including Python, Ruby, Bash, GO, Java, Node.js, or PHP.
  • Experience with application and system monitoring tools, such as Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, ElasticSearch, or Kibana.
  • Experience in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting web servers, database systems, caching layers, and queues.
  • Experience working as a DevSecOps or Cloud Engineer in an agile and fast-paced environment.
