Contract Lawyer Opportunity

Our organisation seeks an experienced contract lawyer to manage all aspects of our contractual arrangements with vendors. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial law and be able to develop and implement effective vendor management processes.

The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner. A detail-oriented approach is essential for this role, as the candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all contractual agreements meet applicable regulatory and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage legal documentation across the organisation, including the development and implementation of vendor management processes.
  • Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations.
  • Procure appropriate legal templates and ensure overall compliance with international sanctions, anti-money laundering, anti-bribery and corruption, and fraud.

Requirements:

  • Experience in contract law and commercial law, focusing on vendor and enterprise agreements, is essential.
  • Experience in intellectual property law is advantageous.
  • Strong research, analytical, and drafting skills, business acumen, and qualifications as a qualified lawyer in a common law jurisdiction with 5-8 years of post-qualification experience are required.
